SRA appoints new director of education and training

The Solicitors Regulation Authority has appointed Julie Brannan as their Director of Education and Training. Julie joins the SRA from Oxford Brookes University where she was Head of Knowledge Exchange and Business Development in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She will lead the SRA’s work to introduce wide-ranging changes to the legal education and training framework.

SRA Chair, Charles Plant said:

“We are delighted to welcome Julie Brannan as our new Director of Education at this key stage in the SRA’s work to re-structure legal education and training.

 

“She brings with her vast experience from both legal and educational fields which will be of immense value in the programme we have ahead of us.”
