Guide to finding EU law online

Guide to finding EU law online

The Law Society of Ireland has published a helpful guide to how to find EU law online.

Notoriously difficult to find, and then interpret, the guide which is in the form of a PowerPoint presentation, provides a short introduction about, and then directs users to, the sources of the various types of EU law, and in addition:

  • Outlines where users can find EU treaties, legislation and case law online.
  • Provides step-by-step instructions to help users negotiate the EU’s legal databases EUR-Lex and Curia, and
  • Helps with tracking legislative procedures.

The guide can be downloaded from the Law Society of Ireland’s website at www.lawsociety.ie/News/News/Stories/guide-to-finding-eu-law-online
