Bar Standards Board Code of Conduct
One of the responsibilities of the Bar Standards Board is to maintain the Code of Conduct of the Bar of England and Wales, which provides the rules which all barrister?s must obey. This is currently in its 8th Edition.
Role of the BSB
The Bar Standards Board operates as an independent regulatory board of the Bar Council and acts in the public interest without being influenced by the Bar Council’s primary function of representing the interests of barristers.
